~:: Another Shameless Self Promotion ::~

Sorry, sorry – meant to have this done yesterday, but life stuck its oar in.  So here we go:

I will award one of the new, very lovely and signed paperback editions of The Gardener to one lucky soul.  And one new, just as lovely and signed paperback edition of Breaking Rank to another lucky soul.  I dearly wish I could send everyone one of these obviously deeply organic books, but sadly, I cannot. Bills must be paid. SO – here are the rules:

Comment on this page, telling me which book you’d like, and that is one entry.

Tweet, share on Facebook (or do a little shining review—only if it’s honest—of one of my books you’ve already read), find another of my Lost Readers and bring that person back to me via Facebook or this page and each of those precious favors will be one other entry. Add ’em up, guys.

Do an actual Blog that includes praise and rabid love for my work, and you get three extra entries.

On AUGUST FIRST I will use one of my high tech, utterly random number pickers (you’ve seen them before) to fish out a name for each book.  And if you are within driving distance (which isn’t far), you get a free kiss on the cheek, too.

WHADDA DEAL!

Links. All right then – The Gardener: https://www.createspace.com/3828583 orhttp://www.amazon.com/The-Gardener-Kristen-D-Randle/dp/147747398X/ref=tmm_pap_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=1324053120&sr=8-1

Breaking Rank: https://www.createspace.com/3881714 or http://www.amazon.com/Breaking-Rank-Kristen-D-Randle/dp/1477489665/ref=sr_1_1_title_0_main?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1343186857&sr=1-1&keywords=Breaking+Rank+randle

Wait – Barnes and Noble – The Gardener: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-gardener-kristen-randle/1111484338?ean=9781477473986

But they don’t have Breaking Rank yet. Here are the secrets: unless you have prime, because the prices at Createspace are the same as the ones at Amazon, it’s better for me if you go Create Space. (Prime=free shipping). But Barnes and Noble beats the heck out of both of those price-wise just now.

But there’s that giveaway, too, remember.  It’s just—if you don’t win a book, DON’T FORGET TO BUY ONE. Right?  Right?  WOO-HOO!!

Anyway, the Gardener is in route to my house as we speak so I will report in after I read but personally signed would be nice:-D!

  2. Hooray! Happy news. You know I love everything you write! 🙂

I’m about to get the ebook “the gardeners” and look forward to a big dose of Kristin right now 🙂 so excited. I have a painting two years in the works by the same title.

    • I’d love to see it, Shellee. I need to see more of your work. I can’t believe you’ve known me this long and you still don’t mind a dose of me.

  4. I would like The Gardener please!

  5. Ariell Larson says:

Love you Kristen! Looking forward to reading these. I’d much rather have a book in hand the a manuscript on a screen.

  6. Ariell Larson says:

Oh, by the way. I did share your lovely giveaway on Facebook. How could I not?

  7. Melissa Laing says:

Here I go again! I do want a copy I can hold of The Gardener. I already have two of Breaking Rank:} And hey if you come down again we could have a party!!! Not that I am shamelessly trying to bribe you or anything:} So I reviewed it on Amazon awhile back and reviewed it one B&N and liked it one facebook. I just don’t twiter. You know me I will recommend you to everyone I come in contact with. Love you!

    • Melissa – honestly, I’d be happy to drive a big dump truck up to your house and leave a LOAD of books there. I just cherish you.

  8. Well, Kristen, I tried my hand at Blogging about your The Only Alien on the Planet. Don’t laugh too hard at me mediocrity with books reviewing. I haven’t done too much of it yet. I am still working on it.

    • It was BEAUTIFUL, Ariell. “No, this alien is far more intriguing because it is the boy next door.” Actually, a brilliant line. The whole paragraph is beautifully written. And you are amazing.

    Free? Did you say, Free?
Having followed the evolution of the cover for The Gardener, I put my dubs in for it. Thanks.

  11. I have purchased the digital copy of The Gardner, but I would looove a hard copy, because my daughter is a member of the Kristen Randle fanclub and her birthday is coming up.

  12. I WANT THE GARDENER! AND I WANT YOU TO SIGN IT! AND I WANT A KISS! And I shared, on FB, AND on twitter! HAH!

  13. And one more for Margaret Bloom!

  14. Loved Breaking Rank, so now I need to read The Gardener.

    • Yes you do. I think you’ll like it. And I think I’ll feel very happy knowing you’ve read it. HURRAY!

  15. Definitely The Gardener — I’ve already got the others. Love your work, btw, Kristen. Why no movie yet?

  16. Yay! I’m excited for you Kristen! I love both of these books. I already have them, so don’t include me in the drawing, but I’ll post a link to this giveaway on my sidebar anyway, because this is worth knowing about!

    Breaking Rank please!
I almost done reading The Only Alien on the Planet (I have an active busy-body 4 year old which makes it hard to read as much as id like to) which is a fabulous story. But this is wonderful book so far and I highly recommend it!

  18. Loene Arbuckle says:

I guessI would like “The Gardener”. Anxious to read it.

  19. Toni Thomas says:

So, I think I need The gardener. I have it on Kindle, but it’s the only one I don’t have in real bookness.

Please, please let it be me!!!!!!!!!

I love The Gardener, but I did NOT like reading it on my Eldest’s little iThingy. What a deep delight it would be to re-read this stellar book IN PRINT. To have it live happily on my bookshelves, standing with spine straight, pages (REAL ones that can become dogeared with love) nestled together holding that charming signature.

    • There is nothing like a real book. When (who said it?) said this: “There is no frigate like a book to take us miles away.” Or something like. When that person said it, they weren’t envisioning us standing on a deck made of pixels, darn it.

  21. In the spirit of the game, I’d like to read The Only Alien on the Planet, so it would be handy to own a signed copy of it. As soon as I figure out what to post on FB (because I didn’t read thoroughly enough), I’ll do it.

  22. Well, my blog was quite rusty, but I brushed it off and put up a post! http://www.sapphirequilt.blogspot.com.

I’d love a copy of the Gardener! It was so good. But I also want to say that I just finished the audio book for Slumming and really enjoyed that one too! And I loved the audio format on that one with the different voices.

    • I’m glad to hear you say that, Carrie – I wasn’t sure about the reading when I first listened to it. So I’m off to visit the blog and you are IN.

    • It was a LOVELY blog, kiddo. Thank you so much.

  23. OK. Here’s my list:
    -multiple FB posts
    -blog entry
    -amazon review
    -barnes and noble review
-intro to new readers…I don’t know who your lost readers are, so I don’t know how to find them for you…or I would, and then I would sit right beside them until they ordered at least one of the books! I would.

    The Gardener for me, please.
I am so happy for you and proud of all your hard work to get these ready….amazing!
    Love you.

Okay, so I really got messed up on doing the blog post. Internet connectivity issues. It’s a wonder that I got here, now, at all. So I’m typing quick. I just wanted to let you know that I WOULD have got a proper blog post done, not just a hurried one tacked onto the end of a post. So, I lost out on extra chances (stamping foot, pouting) but hopefully some other folks will find your novels to delight in.
